Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa has appointed Priyanka Banerjee as Rooms Division Manager following an internal transfer from The Westin Resort & Spa Himalayas, where she most recently served as Front Office Manager.
Bringing 12 years of hospitality experience, Priyanka joins the leadership team with a strong background in front office operations, guest relations, and rooms division management across several of India’s leading luxury hotel brands.

In her new role, Priyanka will oversee the hotel’s Rooms Division operations, focusing on front office management, guest services, housekeeping coordination, operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

A Career Built Across Leading Luxury Brands
Priyanka began her hospitality journey with The Oberoi Hotels, where she spent six years developing expertise in luxury guest service and hotel operations.
She later joined JW Marriott as Front Desk Manager before moving to Taj Bengal as Guest Relations Manager, further strengthening her experience in luxury hospitality and guest engagement.
She subsequently joined The Westin Resort & Spa Himalayas as Assistant Front Office Manager and was later promoted to Front Office Manager, where she played an important role in leading front office operations and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Her internal transfer to Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa marks the next step in her professional journey within Marriott International.
