Hyatt Place Butwal has appointed Suraj Pandey as Food & Beverage Manager, bringing more than 15 years of hospitality experience spanning hotel and cruise operations. His career includes food and beverage leadership roles across properties in Nepal and the UAE.
Pandey joins Hyatt Place Butwal with experience in food and beverage service, team management, client engagement and commercial support. Before taking up his new position, he served as F&B Manager at Siddhartha Vilasa in Bhairahawa, following several years with Tiger Palace Resort & Casino.
The addition aligns with Hyatt’s strategy, reflecting leadership appointments in hospitality.
To Lead Food & Beverage Operations
In his new role, Pandey will oversee the food and beverage operations at Hyatt Place Butwal, with responsibility extending across service delivery and related commercial functions.
His previous experience has included managing F&B teams, working with clients and supporting business development activities. He has also worked closely with sales and marketing teams through client interactions and market visits, giving him exposure to both operational and commercial aspects of the function.
Brings More Than 15 Years of Hospitality Experience
Pandey began his hospitality career in 2011 and subsequently gained international experience with Kempinski Hotel Ajman and Jumeirah Jabal Saray in the UAE.
In September 2017, he joined Tiger Palace Resort & Casino in Bhairahawa, Nepal, as Assistant F&B Manager. Over his tenure, he worked across food and beverage service and team management before being promoted to F&B Manager in April 2021.
His time at Tiger Palace Resort & Casino added several years of operational and leadership experience to his career, including responsibilities related to food and beverage service and team coordination.
Experience Across Operations and Commercial Functions
Prior to joining Hyatt Place Butwal, Pandey served as F&B Manager at Siddhartha Vilasa in Bhairahawa. Across his roles, he has developed experience that extends beyond day-to-day F&B operations.
Pandey has worked alongside sales and marketing teams on client interactions and market visits, while also supporting event sales, client retention and business development initiatives. This combination of operational and commercial exposure forms an important part of his professional background.

At Hyatt Place Butwal, Pandey will bring together his experience in F&B operations, team management and commercial coordination as he takes responsibility for the hotel’s food and beverage function.
His career across hospitality properties in Nepal and the UAE, along with his experience supporting sales and business development activities, provides a broad operational background for his new assignment.
