Fortune Hotels, part of the ITC Hotels Group, has appointed Abhishake Bali as General Manager of Fortune Avenue, Jalandhar. With more than 16 years of hospitality experience, Bali brings a background spanning hotel operations, Food & Beverage, revenue management, guest services and team leadership.
In his new position, Bali will oversee the overall operations of Fortune Avenue, Jalandhar, with responsibility for business performance, service standards and team management. His appointment adds operational leadership experience to the property as it continues to focus on guest service and business performance.
The addition aligns with ITC’s focus on leadership, contributing to hotel appointments.
To Lead Hotel Operations
Bali’s new role covers the day-to-day functioning of Fortune Avenue, Jalandhar, including operational performance, service delivery and team management. His experience across several hotel functions gives him exposure to both guest-facing operations and the commercial aspects of running a hotel.
His responsibilities will also include maintaining service standards and supporting the property’s business performance. His background in Food & Beverage, revenue management and guest services provides a broad operational base for the General Manager position.
More Than 16 Years of Hospitality Experience
Bali has built more than 16 years of experience across the hospitality sector. Before joining Fortune Hotels, he served as General Manager at Sarovar Portico, Ajmer, where he was responsible for the hotel’s operations and overall performance.
His earlier career includes roles with Sarovar Hotels, Royal Orchid Hotels, Clarks Group and Marriott. These assignments have given him experience across hotel operations, Food & Beverage management, revenue enhancement and guest experience.
Experience Across Operations and Commercial Functions
Across his career, Bali has worked across areas that directly contribute to hotel performance, including operational management, guest services, Food & Beverage and revenue-related functions. This combination has supported his progression into senior hotel leadership positions.
His experience also includes managing teams and working across different operational priorities, providing a foundation for his current responsibility at Fortune Avenue, Jalandhar.
Supporting Performance at Fortune Avenue
As General Manager, Bali will focus on the property’s operational performance, service standards and team management. His appointment brings together his experience in hotel operations and commercial functions in a role that requires oversight of the property’s overall performance.
With previous leadership experience at Sarovar Portico and exposure to several established hospitality brands, Bali takes on the Fortune Avenue assignment with a career spanning more than a decade and a half in the hotel industry.
