Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy TechVillage Outer Ring Road have appointed Manish Singh as Cluster Director of Security. Singh joins the leadership team with a career that combines 15 years of service with the Indian Navy and more than a decade of experience in hospitality security.
His professional background spans hotel security, safety procedures, risk assessment, emergency preparedness, VIP security, crisis and disaster management, surveillance systems, and fire and life safety. The appointment adds his security and risk-management experience to the leadership structure of the dual-branded complex.
This move highlights Hilton’s focus on strengthening teams, aligning with leadership appointments in hospitality.
To Lead Cluster Security
As Cluster Director of Security, Singh will oversee security responsibilities across the Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru operations. His experience covers the systems and procedures required to support guest, colleague and property safety.
His background in both military service and hospitality has provided exposure to security planning, emergency preparedness and operational risk management.
From the Indian Navy to Hospitality
Singh spent 15 years with the Indian Navy before moving into the hospitality sector. His military career provided the foundation for his subsequent work in hotel security and safety.
Following his transition to hospitality, he held security leadership positions with several hotel companies and properties. His career includes Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences, Holiday Inn New Delhi International Airport, Novotel Ahmedabad, The Zuri Whitesands Goa Resort & Casino and Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai.
More Than a Decade in Hotel Security
Across his hospitality career, Singh has developed experience in hotel security operations, safety procedures and risk assessment. His responsibilities have also included emergency preparedness, VIP security, crisis and disaster management, surveillance systems, and fire and life safety.
The breadth of his experience covers both preventive security measures and preparedness for operational incidents, areas that form an important part of hotel risk management.
His professional work was recognised in 2021 when he was named Security Person of the Year at the Accor South Asia Hotel Awards.
Focus on Safety and Preparedness
Speaking about his appointment, Singh said,
“I am delighted to join the team and look forward to bringing a proactive approach to security and safety, while building an environment where our guests and colleagues feel confident and cared for.”
His approach will draw on experience developed across military service and hotel security leadership. The role will require coordination around security, safety and emergency preparedness across the cluster.
Strengthening Security Leadership
Singh’s appointment adds a specialist security leadership profile to the management team at Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy TechVillage Outer Ring Road.
His combination of 15 years with the Indian Navy, more than a decade in hospitality and experience across major hotel properties provides a broad foundation for managing security and safety requirements within the complex.
