HHW Lineage Buddha, Sarnath, Varanasi has appointed Mamoh Kumar Pandey as General Manager. In his new role, Pandey will oversee the property’s hotel operations and team management, with responsibility for guest experience, service standards, employee development and business performance.
Pandey brings more than 15 years of hospitality experience, having started his career in 2007. His professional background spans human resources, hotel operations, team management, guest experience, liaisoning and business management, with experience across several hospitality properties in North and Central India.
The appointment strengthens the hospitality sector’s team, contributing to leadership appointments in hospitality.
To Lead Hotel Operations and Team Management
As General Manager, Pandey will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of HHW Lineage Buddha, Sarnath, while working across key areas including guest experience, service delivery, team management and business performance.
His responsibilities will include maintaining service standards, supporting employee development and coordinating operational activities across the property. His combined background in human resources and hotel operations will also support the management of teams and the wider operational requirements of the hotel.
More Than 15 Years Across Hospitality Functions
Pandey began his hospitality career in 2007 and has since worked across human resources and hotel operations roles.
He started as Assistant HR Manager at Best Western Plus, Lucknow, before moving to PL Palace Lords Inn, Agra, where he served as HR & Liaisoning Manager.
His career subsequently expanded into broader operational responsibilities. He held HR and operations leadership positions at Pride Hotel, Bhopal, followed by Ramada by Wyndham, Agra, and ITC Fortune Park, Aligarh.
His most recent position was Assistant General Manager at Imperial Golf Resort & Wedding Lawns, Gwalior, a project associated with Gateway Taj. The role further broadened his experience in hotel management and operational leadership.
Experience Across Human Resources and Operations
Pandey’s career has combined people management with hotel operations, giving him experience in areas that include employee development, team coordination, guest experience and liaisoning.
His progression from human resources roles into wider operational and general management responsibilities reflects an expanding remit across hotel functions. This experience will now be applied to the overall management of HHW Lineage Buddha in Sarnath.
