Management agreement with Malpani Group marks Treat’s seventh property in Maharashtra and 21st across India
Sangamner, Maharashtra, September 2026: Treat Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new resort in Sangamner, Maharashtra, under a management agreement with Malpani Group. The upcoming resort is scheduled to become operational in 2028.
The development will feature 132 elegantly designed guest rooms, positioning it as a sizeable hospitality addition to Sangamner and the surrounding region.
The signing adds to the hospitality sector’s development pipeline, contributing to the growing momentum shaping hotel signings and announcements.Designed to cater to both leisure stays and celebrations, the resort will include multiple ballrooms and banquet spaces, multiple lawns, a fine-dining restaurant and bar, and a range of recreational activities.
The signing marks another milestone in Treat Hotels & Resorts’ expansion journey, taking its presence to seven properties in Maharashtra and 21 properties across India.
Sangamner brings together an economy shaped by agriculture, education and a growing business landscape, creating opportunities for the resort to cater to a mix of leisure travellers, families, social celebrations and business-related demand.
