Park Hyatt Chennai has appointed Balasubramanian R (Bala) as Director of Revenue, strengthening its commercial leadership team as the hotel continues to focus on revenue optimisation and sustainable growth.
With over 12 years of experience across India and the Middle East, Bala brings extensive expertise in revenue management, strategic pricing, market analysis, distribution, and commercial strategy.

In his new role, Bala will head the hotel’s revenue management function, focusing on strategic pricing, demand generation, distribution management, and enhancing overall commercial performance.
His appointment reflects Park Hyatt Chennai‘s continued emphasis on data-driven decision-making and revenue optimisation.
Extensive Hospitality Experience
Prior to joining Park Hyatt Chennai, Bala served as Cluster Director of Revenue, overseeing revenue strategy for Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad, Hyatt Raipur, and Hyatt Place Hampi.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles with the Hilton Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC) as Cluster Revenue Manager and gained international experience with Radisson Dubai and Dusit Thani.
His professional journey also includes key revenue management positions with ITC Rajputana, Hyatt Pune, IHG Corporate Office – Southwest Asia, Hyatt Regency Chandigarh, and Crowne Plaza Bengaluru.
