ITC Hotels Limited has signed a management agreement for Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Rajgir, marking another step in its expansion strategy in Bihar. The agreement was announced in the presence of Shri Samrat Choudhary, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, and Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited.
The hotel is being developed under a long-term arrangement between the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) and Kalsi Buildcon Private Limited, with the objective of strengthening Bihar’s tourism infrastructure and promoting the state as a destination for cultural, spiritual, and experiential travel.

Spread across 2.67 acres, Welcomhotel Rajgir is designed to offer a contemporary hospitality experience while reflecting the region’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
The hotel will feature 107 guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, nearly 5,000 square feet of indoor banqueting space, and over 12,000 square feet of landscaped outdoor lawns. The property is expected to cater to weddings, social celebrations, conferences, and large-format events, while serving both leisure and business travellers visiting Rajgir.
