Holiday Inn Express, owned by SAMHI, has appointed Zaheer Hasan Husain as Portfolio Housekeeping Manager, a newly created leadership role designed to strengthen operational consistency and housekeeping standards across the brand’s growing portfolio in India.
In his new position, Zaheer will focus on enhancing housekeeping operations, driving quality standards, supporting team capability development, and strengthening operational excellence across multiple hotels within the portfolio.

Zaheer brings over 20 years of international hospitality experience spanning luxury hotels and resorts across the Maldives, Seychelles, Zanzibar, the Middle East, and India.
Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in housekeeping operations, pre-opening projects, hotel rebranding initiatives, quality audits, cost optimisation, and managing large multicultural teams.
His experience includes delivering improvements in guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and quality performance across premium hospitality environments.

As Portfolio Housekeeping Manager, Zaheer will work closely with hotel teams to strengthen housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio.
