Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of two new properties, Lemon Tree Hotel, Siddharthanagar in Nepal and Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, further expanding its presence across India and strengthening its international footprint in Nepal.

Both hotels will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, as the company continues to grow its portfolio in high-potential domestic and international markets.

This deal reflects Lemon Tree’s growth trajectory, aligning with hotel signings and announcements.

    Expanding Presence in Nepal

The signing of Lemon Tree Hotel, Siddharthanagar increases the group’s presence in Nepal to eight properties, including five operational hotels and three upcoming developments.

Located in Siddharthanagar, Rupandehi, the hotel will feature 120 rooms, a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting and conference facilities, a bar lounge, swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, and other guest amenities.

The property’s strategic location near Lumbini, one of the world’s most significant Buddhist pilgrimage destinations, and close to the India–Nepal border is expected to enhance its appeal to both domestic and international travellers. The hotel is situated approximately 2 kilometres from Bhairahawa Airport and enjoys road connectivity to major cities across Nepal and India.

Strengthening the Portfolio in Andhra Pradesh

The company has also signed Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Vijayawada, taking its portfolio in Andhra Pradesh to 11 properties, comprising six operational hotels and five upcoming properties.

Within Vijayawada, the signing increases Lemon Tree Hotels’ presence to five properties, including three operational hotels and two under development, reinforcing the company’s focus on one of the state’s key commercial and administrative centres.

The upcoming hotel will offer 70 rooms, along with a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting and conference facilities, spa, and fitness centre. Conveniently located, it is approximately 19 kilometres from Vijayawada Airport and 1.5 kilometres from Vijayawada Railway Station, offering easy access for business and leisure travellers.

    Leadership on the New Signings

Commenting on the expansion, Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President, Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd., said:

“Our growth strategy is centred on building scale in markets where we see sustained opportunity. Andhra Pradesh and Nepal are both important for us, and these two signings further advance our plans in each. In Vijayawada, the addition of Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels takes our portfolio to five properties, reflecting our confidence in the city’s continued commercial importance. In Siddharthanagar, the new hotel adds to our growing presence in Nepal, with a location that benefits from its proximity to Lumbini and the India–Nepal border. Together, these signings reinforce our commitment to building a strong, well-diversified portfolio across markets with compelling long-term prospects.”

    Supporting Long-Term Growth

The latest signings reflect Lemon Tree Hotels’ continued strategy of deepening its presence in established domestic markets while expanding its international portfolio. By adding hotels in both India and Nepal, the company continues to build a diversified network that caters to growing business, leisure, and pilgrimage travel demand across the region.
