IHG Hotels & Resorts has launched its luxury collection brand, Vignette Collection, in India and South West Asia with the opening of The Aarlis Hotel Panchkula, a 145-room property located in Haryana’s Chandigarh Tricity region.
The opening marks the debut of the Vignette Collection brand in the region and represents a key milestone in IHG’s strategy to expand its luxury and lifestyle portfolio across India.

Located against the backdrop of the Shivalik Hills, The Aarlis Hotel Panchkula strengthens IHG’s presence in North India while introducing the company’s collection-brand concept to the Indian market.
Launched as IHG’s first collection brand, Vignette Collection is designed for independent luxury hotels seeking the benefits of IHG’s global distribution, loyalty programme, and operational platform while retaining their individual identity.
The brand currently comprises 34 hotels across 17 countries, with 45 additional properties in the global pipeline.
Luxury Hospitality Offering
The hotel features 145 guest rooms along with multiple dining venues, a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, and nearly 30,000 square feet of meetings and events space, including the Aura Grand Ballroom.
Positioned to serve both business and leisure travellers, the property benefits from its proximity to Chandigarh’s commercial districts as well as attractions including Morni Hills, Sukhna Lake, and the Capitol Complex.
Signature Cultural Experience and Community Initiative
As part of the Vignette Collection brand experience, the hotel introduces Venu-Nada, its signature cultural ritual designed to create a distinctive guest experience.
The property has also partnered with NGO Chhoti Si Asha to support livelihood opportunities for underprivileged women by sourcing locally made guest amenities and gifting products.
