His background also includes revenue strategy, market repositioning, resort sales, multi-property operations, forecasting and team development.

In his new role, Menon will oversee the commercial strategy for Le Méridien Surat, with a focus on strengthening the hotel’s position across corporate, MICE, weddings, social events and leisure segments.
His responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, developing market relationships and supporting revenue-generating initiatives across the property. He will also work on strengthening the hotel’s existing events and banqueting business while exploring opportunities across food and beverage, wellness and leisure.
A Career Across Hilton and Marriott Properties
Menon began his hospitality career with Hilton, with professional assignments across Chennai, Mumbai and Trivandrum.
He subsequently held leadership positions with Radisson Blu, Fairfield by Marriott, Renaissance Ahmedabad, Four Points by Sheraton and Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa, Coorg.
His career across these organisations has provided exposure to business hotels, luxury resorts, multi-property operations and pre-opening environments. Alongside sales and marketing, his experience encompasses revenue strategy, forecasting, market repositioning and team development.
Experience Across Luxury and Resort Markets
Menon’s professional background covers both urban business hotels and destination-oriented resort environments.
His experience in luxury and resort sales has included developing commercial strategies for different customer segments, while his exposure to multi-property operations has involved coordinating sales and business development requirements across more than one hotel environment.
His experience with MICE, weddings and social celebrations also aligns with the commercial opportunities presented by Le Méridien Surat, particularly its events and banqueting business.
Focus on Corporate, MICE and Weddings
A key priority in Menon’s new role will be strengthening the hotel’s engagement with corporate and events-driven business.
