Fortune Hotels, part of the ITC Hotels Group, has appointed Ishan Thakur as Corporate Manager, F&B Service. Thakur brings more than 18 years of Food & Beverage leadership experience, with a career spanning multi-outlet operations, commercial performance, guest services and team management.
Before joining Fortune Hotels in his new corporate role, Thakur served as Food & Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort, where he managed multiple outlets and culinary operations. His earlier career includes experience with Oberoi, The Leela, Hyatt and Fortune Hotels.
The addition aligns with ITC’s focus on leadership, contributing to hotel appointments.
To Support F&B Service Across Fortune Hotels
As Corporate Manager, F&B Service, Thakur will support Food & Beverage operations and service standards across Fortune Hotels. His responsibilities will draw on his experience in outlet management, guest service, commercial performance and team leadership.
The corporate role also places his experience in multi-outlet operations within a broader organisational setting, with a focus on service standards and operational performance across the brand.
More Than 18 Years in Food & Beverage
Thakur has more than 18 years of experience in Food & Beverage leadership. Most recently, he was Food & Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort, where he managed multiple outlets and culinary functions while contributing to the hotel’s overall business performance.
Earlier, he worked with Oberoi, The Leela, Hyatt and Fortune Hotels. His career has covered a range of Food & Beverage environments and operating models.
Experience Across Multiple F&B Functions
Thakur’s professional experience includes restaurants, bars and banquets, along with menu engineering, revenue optimisation and guest services. He has also been involved in chef pop-ups and international bar takeovers.
His background combines hands-on operational experience with commercial exposure, including F&B revenue and efficiency. These areas form a relevant base for his corporate responsibility at Fortune Hotels.

In his new role, Thakur will support the organisation’s Food & Beverage operations and service standards. His experience across multiple outlets and hospitality brands provides exposure to both day-to-day service delivery and wider commercial priorities.
