Five-day dining experience at DEL will showcase rare, home-style Kashmiri recipes by Chef Sabrina Suri
New Delhi, August 2026: Roseate House New Delhi will host a Kashmiri Food Pop-Up at its all-day dining bistro, DEL, from 24 to 28 August 2026, featuring Chef Sabrina Suri, Founder & Chef, Sabrina’s Kitchen, Malun T Variv.
The five-day dinner buffet will focus on lesser-known, home-style Kashmiri recipes, bringing traditional flavours and culinary stories from the Valley to Delhi.
Reviving Kashmiri Culinary Traditions
Chef Sabrina Suri’s culinary venture, Malun T Variv, focuses on reviving lost and heirloom Kashmiri recipes and bringing them back to the table.
The menu moves beyond the familiar repertoire of Wazwan to explore Kashmiri home cooking shaped by seasons, family kitchens, Sufi traditions and the natural landscape of the Valley.
A Taste of the Valley
The rotating buffet will feature a selection of traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, including Nadru Kebab, Veg Shami, Nadru Manju, Al Yakhni, Kashmiri Rajma, Ruwagan Chhaman, Chicken Yakhni, Mutton Rogan Josh and Mutton Yakhni, along with traditional accompaniments and desserts.
From fennel-infused Yakhni preparations to the rich flavours of Rogan Josh, the pop-up aims to highlight the diversity of Kashmiri cuisine and recipes that rarely feature beyond the region’s home kitchens.
