Crowne Plaza Greater Noida has appointed Dinesh Rai as General Manager, effective October 12, 2026. With more than 25 years of hospitality experience, Rai brings expertise in hotel operations, commercial management, revenue strategy and business development.
He joins the property from Crowne Plaza Kochi, where he served as General Manager. In his new role, Rai will oversee hotel operations, guest satisfaction, business performance and colleague development.

As General Manager, Rai will be responsible for the hotel’s overall operations, focusing on service standards, commercial performance and team development.
His responsibilities will also include strengthening the property’s position in Greater Noida’s corporate travel, meetings and events market.
Previous Role at Crowne Plaza Kochi
Before joining Crowne Plaza Greater Noida, Rai served as General Manager at Crowne Plaza Kochi, where he oversaw hotel operations, commercial performance, business development and asset enhancement initiatives.
His professional background also includes assignments with Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark (now Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Infopark), Mercure Hyderabad KCP, Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, Hyderabad International Convention Centre, the Taj Group of Hotels and InterContinental The Grand Mumbai.
These assignments provided experience across business hotels, convention facilities and international hospitality brands.
Early Career in Finance and Hotel Operations
Rai began his hospitality career in the Accounts department at Holiday Inn Pune.
He subsequently worked at Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre (now The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake), gaining experience across Accounts, Reservations, Revenue and Front Office operations.
His progression across financial, commercial and operational functions has contributed to his approach to hotel management.
