BWH Hotels GB has appointed Gary Wallace as Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Adrian Burrows, who is retiring after more than 14 years with the group as Finance Director and Company Secretary. Wallace will take responsibility for the organisation’s financial operations and business performance as it continues to expand its hotel portfolio across Great Britain.
Wallace brings experience across PLCs, private equity-backed businesses and privately owned companies. His appointment comes as BWH Hotels GB continues to report growth across its portfolio, with recent additions taking the number of new bedroom signings over the past 12 months to 291.
The addition strengthens the hospitality sector’s leadership team, aligning with trends in executive movements in hotels.

His role comes at a period of portfolio growth for the organisation, which now represents more than 230 independent hotels across Great Britain, including Best Western and WorldHotels properties.
Wallace will bring his financial and corporate experience to the group as it manages continued expansion and supports its independent hotel portfolio.
Experience Across Corporate and Private Businesses

During his tenure, he was involved in business transformation, the company’s stock market listing and fundraising activities, as well as an acquisition.
His wider experience spans PLCs, private equity-backed businesses and privately owned companies, providing exposure to different ownership structures and stages of business development.
This background will support his new responsibilities across finance and business performance at BWH Hotels GB.
