A Career Built from the Ground Up
An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, New Delhi, Vasant Ravindran began his hospitality journey with the Taj Group as a Hotel Management Trainee. Over the last 16 years, he has steadily progressed through leadership roles at some of India’s most iconic luxury hotels.
His career includes impactful tenures as Director of Rooms at JW Marriott Aerocity, New Delhi and the Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening service standards, operational performance, and guest satisfaction. Most recently, he served as Hotel Manager at The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi, where his leadership was defined by operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, team development, and the continued evolution of the hotel’s guest experience and dining concepts.
Leading The Westin Sohna into Its Next Chapter
In his new role, Vasant will guide the overall strategic and operational direction of The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa. His focus will be on refining the resort’s identity as a wellness-inspired destination that seamlessly blends nature, mindful living, and contemporary luxury.
