Thomas Cook (India) Limited has expanded its experiential hospitality brand, Nature Trails, with the launch of Nature Trails Ashoka Resort in Hampi, Karnataka. With this addition, Nature Trails now operates six resorts across India, strengthening its footprint in experience-led domestic travel.
The brand’s existing portfolio includes properties at Durshet, Sajan and Kundalika in Maharashtra, Rock Valley in Goa and Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. The opening in Hampi marks the sixth destination under the Nature Trails network.

New Resort Positioned in Heritage-Rich Hampi
Nature Trails Ashoka Resort is located amidst Hampi’s distinctive boulder-strewn hills, near the landscapes associated with the Vijayanagara Empire. Positioned on the edge of the region’s rock formations, the resort offers views of the surrounding terrain while remaining within accessible distance of key heritage landmarks.
The property has been designed around the concept of slow and immersive travel, offering travellers a setting that integrates natural surroundings with proximity to UNESCO World Heritage monuments and historic sites.
Accommodation and On-Site Facilities
The resort offers multiple accommodation formats, including Superior Rooms, Classic Rooms, eco-friendly Bamboo Cottage Rooms and a dormitory designed for group travellers. Landscaped gardens and open spaces form part of the layout, encouraging outdoor engagement.
A hillside swimming pool, positioned among the natural terrain, is one of the property’s central features.
Dining facilities include Archana, an open-air multi-cuisine restaurant serving Indian, Chinese and Goan cuisine, and Grills by the Pool, which offers barbeque options and beverages in a poolside setting.
The property also provides indoor and outdoor venues suitable for meetings and social events, including a hall and open-air lawns. Additional amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, parking facilities, 24-hour front desk assistance, room service and doctor-on-call support.

Nature Trails Ashoka Resort is located approximately 3 km from Gangavathi, 10–11 km from Anjanadri Hill and 22 km from Hampi. The property is accessible via Hubli Airport at approximately 170 km and Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru at approximately 340 km.
