As Director of Loss Prevention, Ganesh Tayade will lead safety, security, and risk management operations at The Westin Goa.
His responsibilities will include overseeing security operations, compliance management, emergency response planning, investigations, fire and life safety protocols, and crisis preparedness.
Loss prevention leadership remains a critical operational function in hospitality, particularly in full-service hotels where guest safety, associate wellbeing, and regulatory compliance require constant oversight.
More Than 14 Years of Hospitality Security Experience
Ganesh Tayade brings over 14 years of experience in hospitality security operations and loss prevention.
His expertise spans risk assessment, emergency response, regulatory compliance, crisis management, and operational safety systems.
Hospitality security leadership increasingly extends beyond traditional surveillance functions into business continuity, crisis readiness, and operational resilience.
Previous Marriott Leadership Experience
Prior to joining The Westin Goa, Ganesh Tayade served as Assistant Director of Loss Prevention (Head of Department) at Aloft Bangalore Outer Ring Road.
His hospitality career also includes roles at Courtyard by Marriott Nashik, Fairfield by Marriott Pune Kharadi, JW Marriott Pune, and Courtyard by Marriott Pune City Center.
This reflects extensive experience across Marriott International’s hospitality ecosystem.
Crisis Management and Pre-Opening Expertise
Ganesh Tayade brings significant experience in crisis management and hotel operational readiness.
His work has included implementation of COVID-19 safety protocols, International Security Risk Assessment audits, fire and life safety compliance, emergency preparedness training, SOP and LSOP implementation, investigations, and large-scale event security coordination.
He has also worked closely with local authorities as part of security and compliance operations.
Operational security leadership remains particularly important in hospitality environments managing complex guest-facing operations.
Training and Professional Certifications
Ganesh Tayade holds certifications in fire safety, first aid, and emergency response.
His training includes programmes conducted by St. John Ambulance and Usha Fire Safety Equipments Pvt. Ltd. He has also led internal training initiatives focused on crisis response, emergency preparedness, and operational safety procedures.
