New resort strengthens Sterling’s destination-cluster strategy in Corbett and expands its curated wildlife portfolio to 13 properties
Sterling Holiday Resorts has launched Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett, its second resort in the Corbett landscape and 11th property in Uttarakhand. The addition expands Sterling’s curated wildlife portfolio to 13 resorts with more than 480 rooms and suites, strengthening its strategy of building destination clusters across India’s leading nature and wildlife destinations.
The addition supports the hospitality sector’s expansion strategy, aligning with upcoming hotel openings.Expanding Presence in Corbett
Located in the Bail Parao–Kaladhungi belt of Ramnagar, Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett offers access to the wider Corbett landscape while providing a quieter alternative to the busier tourism zones.
The new resort complements Sterling’s existing presence in Corbett, giving travellers greater flexibility to explore different parts of the destination while staying within the Sterling network.

A Growing Wildlife Portfolio
Sterling now operates a diversified wildlife portfolio across destinations including Corbett, Gir, Kanha, Pench, Ranthambore, Sariska, Thekkady, Wayanad, Anaikatti and Tipeshwar, spanning tiger reserves, lion habitats, rainforest ecosystems and Himalayan forests.
The expansion comes as wildlife travel increasingly moves towards longer, experience-led holidays centred on nature, local landscapes and immersive destination experiences.
Resort and Accommodation
Designed for families, couples, celebrations and corporate retreats, Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett features 46 rooms across five categories, including options with private sit-outs, balconies and exclusive plunge pools.
The resort also features a swimming pool, spa and Nectar, its all-day dining restaurant, along with curated outdoor experiences.
For events, the property offers a 2,800 sq. ft. banquet hall and two landscaped lawns, supporting destination weddings, social celebrations, corporate offsites and incentive travel.

Exploring the Corbett Landscape
Guests can explore the region through safaris across forest zones including Phato and Sitabani, along with birdwatching trails and plantation walks.
The resort also provides access to attractions including Chhoi Village, Shri Hanuman Dham, the Jim Corbett Museum and Corbett Falls.
Building Destination Clusters
Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd, said,
“Wildlife tourism in India is undergoing a significant transformation. Travellers today are looking for experiences that extend well beyond the safari—they want longer stays, meaningful engagement with nature and authentic connections with local landscapes and communities.”
He added, “
Our strategy has been to build destination clusters across India’s most iconic wildlife regions, enabling guests to experience these destinations in richer and more diverse ways while enjoying the consistency of Sterling’s hospitality. Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett is another important milestone in strengthening that vision.”
Shailendra Goswami and Amit Aggarwal, partners at Shreena Hospitalities Pvt Limited, said,
“Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett was envisioned as a peaceful, nature-connected retreat that complements the wider Corbett experience. Partnering with Sterling enables us to bring together the resort’s distinctive location and design with the scale, trust and hospitality expertise of the Sterling brand.”
With the launch, Sterling further strengthens its presence in Uttarakhand while continuing to build its portfolio across experiential travel segments including wildlife, mountains, wellness, pilgrimage and heritage.
