JW Marriott Kolkata has named Russel Issac as its new Director of Food & Beverage.
Russel brings more than a decade of rich, diverse experience in hospitality and culinary operations. He started his career as an Industrial Trainee at Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai, setting a strong foundation in hotel operations. Over the years, he has held key positions at renowned brands including Lemon Tree Hotels, The Oberoi Group, JW Marriott Mumbai, and the Taj Hotels.

Immediately before joining JW Marriott Kolkata, he served as Associate Director of Food & Beverage at Taj Coromandel, Chennai, where he elevated F&B operations across multiple outlets, optimized processes, and built a culture of service excellence. Earlier in his career, Russel also oversaw operations at prominent venues such as Shamiana and Aquarius in Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, integrating global culinary trends with regionally inspired flavors. His tenure in the Maldives at Taj Exotica further enriched his understanding of luxury dining and bespoke guest service.
