Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Gateway hotel in Somajiguda, Hyderabad, marking the brand’s entry into the city and taking the Gateway portfolio to 50 hotels. The upcoming property will be developed as a conversion project.
With this addition, IHCL will have eight hotels in Telangana, including three under development, reinforcing its presence in one of South India’s major commercial hubs.

Gateway brand expands into Hyderabad
The signing represents an important milestone for the Gateway brand as it continues to expand across key urban markets in India. The new property will be developed in partnership with D. Siva Rama Raju and DVS. Soma Raju.

Gateway Somajiguda to feature 225 rooms and suites
The upcoming Gateway, Somajiguda will feature 225 rooms and suites, designed to cater to business travellers and visitors to Hyderabad.
The hotel will include an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a bar and a lounge, offering a range of dining options for guests.
Wellness and event facilities planned
Guest amenities at the hotel will include a gym, health club, swimming pool and treatment rooms, providing wellness and recreational facilities within the property.
The hotel will also feature extensive event and conference infrastructure, including 11 banquet halls, one of which will span approximately 10,000 square feet, supported by multiple meeting rooms designed for corporate gatherings and social events.

The project is being developed in collaboration with D. Siva Rama Raju and DVS. Soma Raju, who expressed their enthusiasm about partnering with IHCL to introduce the Gateway brand to Somajiguda.

Somajiguda is a prominent commercial and residential district in Hyderabad, known for its offices, retail establishments and healthcare institutions. The location positions the hotel to serve business travellers as well as visitors to the city.
With the signing of Gateway Somajiguda, IHCL continues to strengthen its brand presence across key Indian markets while expanding the Gateway portfolio across important business and travel destinations.
