Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has announced the signing of a new hotel under its Gateway brand in Patnitop, Jammu & Kashmir. The project is a conversion with planned expansion and marks a strategic entry into a location known for winter travel and growing leisure demand.

Hotel Overview
Located in a serene natural setting, the 78-key Gateway Patnitop, Jammu & Kashmir will give guests access to the region’s scenic landscape. The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a bar. Guests will have access to two swimming pools, including a heated pool, a fitness centre, and treatment rooms. For social and corporate events, the hotel will offer a banquet hall of more than 4,000 sq. ft., suited for gatherings and functions.

Destination Context
Patnitop is a hill station surrounded by pine forests and snow-covered peaks. Travellers can engage in activities such as trekking, skiing and paragliding. Key attractions include Natha Top and Billo Ki Powri. Patnitop continues to attract visitors looking for adventure, scenic views, and access to the Himalayan region.
With this addition, IHCL will operate 12 hotels in Jammu & Kashmir, including 6 under development.
