Alma Resort Cam Ranh has announced the appointment of Yury Papouski as Recreation Manager, strengthening the resort’s leadership across sports, wellness, entertainment, and family experiences at its expansive beachfront destination.
A specialist in recreation, wellness, and edutainment
Yury Papouski brings extensive experience in managing sport, recreation, wellness, and edutainment programs within Vietnam’s hospitality sector. A Belarusian national, his career has focused on designing engaging guest experiences that balance creativity with operational performance, particularly in large, leisure-driven resort environments.

Experience across leading hospitality and lifestyle brands
Prior to joining Alma Resort Cam Ranh, Yury served as Resort Experience Manager and Wellness Ambassador at Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa. In this role, he oversaw a wide portfolio of recreational, wellness, and family-oriented facilities. His responsibilities included developing signature guest programs and driving revenue growth through structured activity planning and service enhancement.
Earlier, he worked as Project Manager at Edutainment Events Co., handling assignments across Hanoi, Danang, and Nha Trang. His role involved conceptualising edutainment events for children and developing marketing strategies to support engagement and brand visibility. He also served as Entertainment Supervisor at Swandor Hotels & Resorts in Cam Ranh, where he contributed to the design and execution of sports and entertainment programmes and managed on-ground event operations.

Academic foundation and approach to guest engagement
Yury holds a degree in Economist of Marketing from Belarus State Economic University. His academic background complements his practical experience, enabling him to approach recreation programming with a balance of creative design, guest insight, and commercial awareness.
Leading Alma’s recreation and leisure portfolio
In his new role at Alma Resort Cam Ranh, Yury will oversee the resort’s full sports and recreation portfolio. His responsibilities include managing all recreational and entertainment facilities, wellness-led initiatives, children’s programmes, and signature experiences that define the resort’s leisure offering.
His focus will be on increasing guest engagement, diversifying recreational activities, and supporting operational excellence across all leisure services, aligned with the resort’s positioning as a family-friendly, experience-driven destination.
