Shyam Singh has been appointed as Chief Engineer at Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi Okhla. Shyam Singh brings over two decades of experience in hospitality engineering and will lead all engineering and technical operations at the hotel in New Delhi.

Shyam Singh has built his career across leading five-star hotels in India, developing expertise in operations management, preventive maintenance, compliance oversight, energy optimisation and large-scale infrastructure execution. His experience spans pre-opening projects, refurbishment programmes, plant and machinery restoration and sustainability initiatives.
He has previously held senior engineering leadership roles at Holiday Inn Gurugram NH-8, Holiday Inn Agra, Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar New Delhi, Crowne Plaza Okhla and Crowne Plaza Gurgaon. Across these assignments, Shyam Singh managed engineering departments while ensuring uninterrupted hotel operations and adherence to statutory standards.
Proven Track Record in Compliance and Infrastructure Upgrades
Throughout his career, Shyam Singh has led key certification and audit processes including Fire NOC, IGBC Green Building Certification, FSSAI, BSS and ISO 22000 compliance. His work has also included execution of energy conservation programmes and property-level environmental upgrades.
Major projects under his leadership have included installation of chillers, electrical load optimisation, implementation of Variable Frequency Drives, refurbishment works and resolution of critical operational challenges without disruption to guest services. His engineering management approach is structured around preventive maintenance planning, safety compliance and asset longevity.
