The Westin Pune Koregaon Park has promoted Ganapathy Bopana to the position of Director of Rooms, recognising his leadership and contribution to the hotel’s Rooms Division since joining the property in 2022.
In his new role, Ganapathy will oversee the hotel’s Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services, while driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and service consistency across the division.

Ganapathy brings more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with expertise in rooms division operations, front office management, guest services, operational planning, team development, and service excellence.
He joined The Westin Pune Koregaon Park in 2022 as Front Office Manager and was later promoted to Room Division Manager. During his tenure, he has played an important role in enhancing service operations, improving guest experiences, and strengthening operational efficiencies.
Leading the Rooms Division
A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad, Ganapathy is now a member of the hotel’s Executive Committee. In his new position, he will oversee operational processes across the Rooms Division, ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, and support quality audits.
Known for his focus on team engagement, process consistency, and service delivery, he continues to emphasise people development while maintaining high operational standards.
