Taj Bangalore has announced the appointment of Chef R. Deva Kumar as its new executive chef, the hotel confirmed today.
Chef Deva Kumar brings over 20 years of culinary experience at luxury hotels and restaurants. His expertise encompasses regional Indian cuisine as well as contemporary European fare. An alumnus of Madras Institute of Hotel Management and City & Guilds London, he has led the development of distinctive restaurant identities and elevated dining through innovative and thoughtfully crafted menus.
In his new role, Deva Kumar will oversee culinary operations across Taj Bangalore’s signature restaurants, banquets and in-room dining services. The hotel emphasised that he will drive a focus on innovation, consistency and authenticity to enhance the overall guest experience.
