Novotel Jodhpur has announced the promotion of Surendra Shekhawat to the newly instituted role of Associate Director of Finance, marking a significant step in strengthening Accor’s regional finance leadership across Rajasthan.
From Property Finance to Regional Responsibility
Surendra’s elevation reflects a career built on consistency, trust, and deep operational understanding. With over 15 years of experience in hospitality finance, he has worked across multiple Accor and international hotel brands, bringing a strong grasp of compliance, controls, and performance-led financial planning.
His professional journey includes key finance roles at Radisson Hotel Kandla and Novotel Ahmedabad, before joining Novotel Jodhpur. Since January 2024, Surendra has been leading the finance function at the property as Finance Manager, where his stewardship has contributed to sharper financial discipline and improved operational alignment.

A Newly Created Role with a Wider Mandate
As Associate Director of Finance, Surendra’s responsibilities will extend beyond a single property. He will also drive initiatives aimed at improving profitability, enhancing cost efficiencies, and supporting business decisions with robust financial insight.
In addition, Surendra will mentor finance leaders across the region, working closely with divisional and corporate teams to build resilient finance structures that support Accor’s long-term growth plans in North and West India.
