Simba Wild wins Silver and Simba Lager takes Bronze, bringing international recognition to all four beers in Simba’s current portfolio
National, 17 August 2026: Homegrown craft beer brand Simba Beer has secured two honours at the World Beer Awards 2026, with Simba Wild winning Silver and Simba Lager receiving Bronze in the Taste category.
The latest recognition means all four beers in Simba’s current portfolio have now earned recognition at the World Beer Awards.
Simba Wild Wins Silver
Launched in July 2026, Simba Wild has earned a Silver within weeks of entering the market. The beer features a crisp and refreshing character, with subtle malt notes and delicate hop aromas, balancing flavour with drinkability.
Simba Lager Takes Bronze
Simba Lager received a Bronze in the Taste category, adding another international recognition to one of the brand’s established offerings.
The latest awards build on Simba Wit’s Silver and Simba Stout’s Bronze at the World Beer Awards 2025.
With all four expressions now recognised, the achievement comes as Simba celebrates 10 years of brewing in India and enters its next decade.
A Decade of Indian Craft Brewing
Ishwaraj Singh Bhatia, Co-founder, Simba Beer and ZigZag Vodka, said,
“When we started Simba ten years ago, we set out to build a beer brand rooted in craft, quality and a genuine belief in what we were brewing. Having Simba Wild and Simba Lager now join Wit and Stout at the World Beer Awards, with every beer in our portfolio recognised internationally, is a proud moment for us.”
Over the past decade, Simba has built its identity around beer, music, creativity and community, with platforms including Simba Uproar, First Time with Simba, Simba Garage and Simba Wagwan extending the brand beyond its beer portfolio.
The latest honours mark a significant milestone for Simba as all four of its current beer expressions now carry international recognition from the World Beer Awards.
