Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi Okhla has appointed Rajashekar Petlu as Director of Revenue, strengthening the hotel’s commercial leadership. In the role, he will oversee pricing strategy, channel mix, and revenue optimisation to drive market share and profitability for the property.
Petlu brings over a decade of experience in revenue management across leading hospitality brands. His background spans end-to-end commercial planning, demand forecasting, inventory and distribution control, and system integrations—capabilities he will leverage to enhance the hotel’s topline performance and long-term business outcomes.
Prior to this, he was with Park Hyatt Chennai as Director of Revenue, leading pricing and distribution initiatives that enhanced the hotel’s market positioning.
Before joining Hyatt, Mitra was associated with Hilton Hotels, where he worked as Cluster Revenue Manager – Bangalore, overseeing multiple properties and optimizing performance through data-driven strategies. He has also worked with Accor as Cluster Revenue Manager, gaining extensive exposure in the Bengaluru market.
At Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi Okhla, Petlu will focus on data-driven tactics to sharpen pricing, strengthen segment profitability, and elevate the overall booking journey across direct and third-party channels. The appointment underscores the hotel’s emphasis on disciplined revenue science and agile decision-making in a competitive Delhi-NCR landscape.
