Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Rahul Rana as Director – Culinary, reinforcing its focus on food innovation and brand-wide consistency. A hospitality veteran with over 22 years of global experience, Chef Rana steps into the role at a time when the group continues to expand across key Indian markets.
Global exposure across brands and regions
Chef Rana has worked with leading international hotel brands including Accor, Marriott, Hyatt, InterContinental and Sarova Hotels. His professional journey spans assignments across the United Kingdom, the Caribbean, the Maldives, Indonesia, Kenya and India. Over the years, he has also played a key role in launching standalone specialty restaurants, ranging from modern Pan-Asian and Peruvian concepts to regional Kenyan cuisine.

Driving menu innovation and scale
Known for his expertise in contemporary culinary techniques and large-format international buffet presentations, Chef Rana brings hands-on experience in building scalable kitchen systems without compromising creativity. His appointment is expected to strengthen Cygnett’s culinary identity across properties while supporting new hotel openings.
