Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi has appointed Swapnil Smita Shridhar Vaidya as Senior Human Resources Manager. In his new role, Vaidya will lead the hotel’s human resources function, with responsibility for talent acquisition, employee development, engagement, performance management, welfare and statutory compliance.
Vaidya brings experience across hospitality human resources, hotel operations and branded food and beverage businesses. Before joining Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi, he served as HR Manager at Planet Hollywood Thane, following a career that includes roles with Sarovar Hotels, Hotel Marine Plaza, Goldfinch Hotel Mumbai, VITS Mumbai – Kamat Hotels and SK Restaurants, associated with Chef Sanjeev Kapoor.
To Lead Human Resources Operations
As Senior Human Resources Manager, Vaidya will oversee the hotel’s people management functions, covering talent acquisition, onboarding and induction, learning and development, employee engagement and performance management.
His responsibilities will also include employee welfare, payroll coordination, HR policies and SOPs, as well as statutory and labour compliance. He will work with leadership and operational teams to support workforce planning and maintain effective HR processes across the property.
Brings Hospitality HR Experience
Before joining Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi, Vaidya was associated with Planet Hollywood Thane as HR Manager. His previous career includes HR and leadership roles with Sarovar Hotels, Hotel Marine Plaza, Goldfinch Hotel Mumbai and VITS Mumbai – Kamat Hotels.
He has also worked with SK Restaurants, associated with Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, adding experience from the branded food and beverage sector to his hospitality HR background.
Across these assignments, Vaidya has developed experience in manpower planning and budgeting, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement and learning and development.
Experience Across People and Compliance Functions
Vaidya’s professional background extends beyond core HR operations into employee welfare, POSH compliance, labour law and statutory compliance. He has also worked with statutory and local authorities on labour and operational compliance matters.
His experience therefore covers both people-focused functions and the regulatory requirements associated with hospitality operations. At Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi, this background will support the hotel’s HR processes across employee development, compliance and workforce management.
Supporting Employee Experience
At Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi, Vaidya will focus on strengthening HR operations while supporting employee development and engagement across the property. His role will involve coordinating with different departments to address workforce requirements and maintain effective people practices.
His appointment adds HR leadership experience to the hotel’s management team as the property continues to focus on employee experience, team development and service standards.
