Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences has announced the appointment of Om Prakash Bhatt as Portfolio Director of Revenue, entrusting him with revenue leadership across Accor’s East India cluster, including Kolkata, Guwahati, and Mercure Kathmandu. The appointment strengthens Accor’s commercial framework in the region and signals a focused push toward data-led growth, sharper forecasting, and stronger market positioning.
With more than a decade of experience in hospitality revenue management, Om brings a deep understanding of how pricing, distribution, and demand strategy intersect with hotel operations and brand performance. His career has been shaped across key commercial functions, giving him a holistic view of how revenue strategy must align with on-ground execution and long-term business goals.

Building revenue strategy through experience
Prior to this role, Om was associated with Novotel Ahmedabad as Director of Revenue Management for over two years. During his tenure, he strengthened revenue frameworks, improved forecasting accuracy, and helped enhance commercial efficiency across the property. His work was marked by a structured, analytical approach to performance management, supported by strong stakeholder collaboration.
Om holds a BBAHM in Business Administration and Management and is known for his clear communication style, cross-functional understanding, and results-driven mindset. His ability to translate data into actionable strategy has made him a trusted commercial leader within the Accor network.

Driving portfolio performance across key markets
In his new role, Om will be responsible for shaping and executing revenue strategy across the East India portfolio. His mandate includes optimising performance, strengthening forecasting and pricing discipline, and supporting sustained commercial growth across multiple markets.
