Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur, the maiden property under ITC Hotels’ luxury brand Mementos, has announced the appointment of Upender Singh Tomar as its new General Manager. With more than 15 years of rich experience in luxury hospitality, Tomar brings expertise in strategic leadership, revenue growth, and delivering elevated guest experiences.
Tomar began his journey in 2006 as a WelcomLegionnaire, quickly rising through the ranks across ITC Hotels’ iconic properties. An alumnus of the prestigious ITC Hospitality Management Institute (formerly Welcomgroup Management Institute), he further enhanced his leadership acumen through the LEAD Programme at IIM Ahmedabad, equipping him with a strong foundation in commercial strategy and revenue management.

Throughout his career, Tomar has held pivotal roles at landmark ITC Hotels including ITC Sonar (Kolkata), ITC Grand Chola (Chennai), ITC Maratha (Mumbai), ITC Gardenia (Bengaluru), and ITC Kakatiya (Hyderabad). In each role, he has demonstrated an ability to drive service excellence, optimize operational performance, and cultivate high-performing teams that deliver consistently superior guest satisfaction.
Sharing his excitement on the new role, Tomar said:
