Marriott Bonvoy has entered into a multi-year global partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC), appointing Marriott International’s award-winning travel platform as the Official Accommodation Partner for ICC events through 2029. The alliance brings together two global powerhouses, uniting the reach of international cricket with Marriott Bonvoy’s expansive portfolio of hotels, resorts, and travel experiences.

Connecting Global Cricket with Global Travel

Under the agreement, Marriott Bonvoy will support ICC Men’s events worldwide by providing accommodation solutions while also engaging cricket’s vast international fan base through curated travel and hospitality experiences. With cricket followed by more than two billion fans globally, the partnership positions Marriott Bonvoy at the heart of one of the world’s most passionately followed sports.

The collaboration also opens new avenues for Marriott Bonvoy’s more than 260 million members, offering opportunities to connect with the sport through exclusive access, experiences, and content linked to major ICC tournaments across continents.

Satya Anand, President – Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International, said,

“Cricket has been a lifelong passion for me, and like millions of fans, I’ve seen how the game brings people together across borders and generations. Partnering with the ICC allows us to turn that shared passion into unforgettable journeys, giving our members unmatched ways to experience ICC events both on and off the pitch.”

ICC Events Covered Under the Agreement

The partnership spans all major ICC Men’s events over the next four years, including the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka; the ICC World Test Championship Final 2027 in the United Kingdom; the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia; the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 in Australia and New Zealand; the ICC World Test Championship Final 2029 in the United Kingdom; and the ICC Champions Trophy 2029 in India.

A Long-Term Play for Fan Engagement

The partnership underscores Marriott Bonvoy’s strategy of aligning with global passion points to deepen member engagement, while reinforcing the ICC’s focus on extending fan experiences beyond the stadium. Together, the two organisations aim to blend sport, travel, and culture into a unified global experience that resonates with cricket lovers worldwide.
