Joseph Min has been appointed Director of Food & Beverage at Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs, bringing more than three decades of global luxury hospitality experience to the leadership role. In this position, Joseph Min will oversee all food and beverage operations at the 153-room hotel in Palm Springs, California.
His responsibilities include managing the hotel’s restaurants, bars, private dining services and event-related culinary programming.

Leadership role overseeing food and beverage operations
As Director of Food & Beverage, Joseph Min will supervise all dining outlets and beverage programs at the property.
The hotel’s culinary portfolio includes the MICHELIN-recommended restaurant 4 Saints, along with Juniper Table, High Bar and Window Bar. His role also covers private dining experiences and food and beverage services for events and functions hosted at the hotel.
The appointment strengthens the hotel’s leadership team as it continues to develop its dining and hospitality offerings in Palm Springs.
Previous role at The Waterfront Beach Resort
Before joining Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs, Joseph Min served as Director of Food & Beverage at The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel in Huntington Beach, California.
In that role, he managed operations across multiple dining venues and oversaw food and beverage services at the resort.

Leadership experience across luxury hospitality brands
Throughout his career, Joseph Min has held senior hospitality roles at several luxury properties across Southern California.
These include Terranea Resort, The Langham Huntington Pasadena, The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel and the Forbes Five-Star Resort at Pelican Hill.
His professional experience spans operational management, team leadership and service strategy across multiple hospitality environments.
International hospitality career across seven countries
Joseph Min’s hospitality background also includes international assignments across seven countries.
During his early career, he worked with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in destinations including Beijing, Bangkok, Oman, Dubai and Myanmar.
He has also been involved in opening several hotels and restaurants worldwide, contributing to operational planning and service development.

Hospitality background and education
Joseph Min was born in Myanmar and raised between Yangon and Singapore.
He holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from SHATEC Singapore and has pursued advanced wine education through WSET and the Court of Master Sommeliers.
