JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa has appointed Shiva Kalra as Associate Director of Food & Beverage, effective February 2026.
In his new role, Shiva will oversee the resort’s food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bar operations, in-room dining, and destination dining experiences. He will focus on enhancing guest satisfaction, strengthening operational performance, and driving revenue growth across the resort’s F&B portfolio.

Shiva Kalra brings over 13 years of experience across luxury hospitality brands in India, the Maldives, and the Middle East.
He began his hospitality career with The Oberoi Rajvilas and Fairmont Dubai, developing a strong foundation in luxury service standards and guest experience management.
Over the years, he has held leadership positions with prominent hospitality brands including Fairmont Jaipur, Conrad Bengaluru, InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort, and Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Goa.
Strong Track Record in Food & Beverage Leadership
During his tenure at Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Goa, Shiva led the property’s all-day dining restaurant to become one of the highest-performing revenue-generating outlets within the brand’s portfolio.
He has also received recognition for delivering exceptional guest satisfaction and was acknowledged through Platinum Club recognitions for guest feedback performance.
Previous Association with JW Marriott Mussoorie
This appointment marks a return to JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa for Shiva Kalra.
Earlier in his career, he served as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at the property, where he contributed to maintaining strong guest satisfaction scores and supported the resort in achieving top rankings within the APEC region.
Most recently, he was associated with Oblu Select Sangeli Maldives as Assistant F&B Manager, where he maintained strong audit scores across guest satisfaction, food safety, hygiene, and operational compliance.
Education and Professional Certifications
Shiva holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Annamalai University and a degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM Jodhpur.
His professional qualifications include WSET Level 1 and Level 2 certifications in Wines, ServSafe Food Safety Manager certification, and various hospitality operations training credentials.
