ITC Hotels has launched its latest Welcomhotel property in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, the company announced Tuesday. The new hotel features 60 rooms and suites and marks ITC’s seventh property in the state, with six additional properties under development.
Located near the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers, Welcomhotel Prayagraj is positioned to welcome both business and leisure travelers to the historic city, according to ITC. The property combines traditional architectural elements with contemporary comfort, delivering a design ethos described by the company as “a symphony of traditional charm and modern sophistication”.

The property includes three dining outlets—WelcomCafé for all-day dining, Dough & Co. offering fresh baked goods, and Swizzle, an in‑house concept bar—with an additional outlet, Kebabs & Kurries, set to open soon. Amenities such as a swimming pool, spa and both indoor and outdoor banqueting spaces support the hotel’s role as a venue for corporate, social and spiritual gatherings.
Welcomhotel Prayagraj is part of ITC Hotels’ broader asset-right expansion strategy in North India. The project is managed under contract and follows the brand’s approach to combining cultural authenticity with sustainable operational practices.
Booking is now open. Welcomhotel Prayagraj is expected to host guests seeking a retreat imbued with local heritage, especially during major events like the Kumbh Mela spiritual festival.
