New Gateway Resort Planned in South Goa
Indian Hotels Company Limited has announced the signing of a new Gateway resort in South Goa near Colva Beach, expanding its presence in one of India’s established leisure hospitality markets.
The greenfield project will be branded as Gateway Resort Colva Beach Road Goa.
With this addition, IHCL’s Goa portfolio will grow to 25 hotels, including seven under development.
This agreement reflects IHCL’s continued push into emerging markets, contributing to hospitality expansion deals.175-Key Greenfield Resort Project
The upcoming Gateway Resort Colva Beach Road, Goa will be developed across 2.9 acres in proximity to Colva Beach.
The 175-key resort will target leisure travellers, social events, weddings, and corporate gatherings.
Greenfield hospitality development continues to remain an important expansion route for operators seeking presence in established leisure destinations.
Dining, Wellness and Event Facilities
The resort will feature multiple food and beverage offerings, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a bar.
Guest amenities will include a swimming pool, fitness centre, and treatment rooms. The property will also include a ballroom of approximately 7,000 square feet along with outdoor lawns.
Meetings, weddings, and social event infrastructure continue to remain commercially relevant for destination resort developments.
