Javed Deshmukh has been appointed as Cluster General Manager – North Goa at Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL). In this role, Javed Deshmukh will oversee operations and provide strategic direction across IHCL’s portfolio in North Goa.

As Cluster General Manager – North Goa, Javed Deshmukh will be responsible for Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, The Yellow House – IHCL SeleQtions, La Estoria – IHCL SeleQtions, and amã Stays & Trails properties in the region.
The role includes driving operational performance, strengthening service delivery, and aligning the cluster’s strategic objectives with IHCL’s broader growth plans in Goa.

Two Decades of Experience Within IHCL
Javed Deshmukh brings close to two decades of experience with IHCL. He began his hospitality journey at The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai, and has since held key operational and leadership positions across the company’s portfolio.
Most recently, Javed Deshmukh served as Cluster General Manager at Savoy Ooty, IHCL SeleQtions and Gateway, Coonoor. In that assignment, he led multi-hotel operations, focusing on service standards, operational efficiencies, and commercial performance.
Over the years, Javed Deshmukh has built expertise in operational strategy, financial management, brand positioning, service leadership, and innovation-driven initiatives within IHCL’s framework.
