Hilton has been ranked the No. 1 Best Workplace in Asia™ by Great Place to Work®, reaffirming its position as the region’s leading hospitality employer. The recognition extends Hilton’s consistent record as the top-ranked hospitality company in Asia, a title it has held since 2017, underscoring its emphasis on employee experience, wellness, career growth, inclusion, and purpose-driven culture.

The group currently employs more than 92,000 team members across Asia Pacific, supporting a portfolio of more than 1,100 hotels. With the hospitality sector in the region projected to add more than 2,300 new leadership positions by 2030, Hilton is focusing on building a diverse and capable pipeline of leaders to steer its future expansion.

Alan Watts, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton, said:

Being named Asia’s Best Workplace is an incredible honor — a recognition we owe entirely to our 92,000 team members across Asia Pacific. Their passion and dedication bring our culture of hospitality to life every single day, creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. As we continue to grow our footprint across the region, we remain deeply committed to nurturing a workplace culture that is as exceptional as the hotel stays we deliver.

Hilton’s workplace culture is closely associated with career progression and international mobility. Many employees have advanced from entry-level positions to leadership roles across different countries and regions, a trend the company attributes to its emphasis on training, mentorship, and professional development. The group has built programs that prioritize continuous learning and leadership development to prepare employees for broader responsibilities across the industry.

Patsy Ng, senior vice president, human resources, Asia Pacific, Hilton, said:

The passion and dedication our team members bring every day inspire us to create a workplace where they feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work . Being honored as the No. 1 Best Workplace in Asia is a powerful affirmation of our culture — one that is rooted in our founder’s vision and will carry us well into the future. This recognition strengthens our commitment to investing in the skills, mindset and ambition our leaders need to Dream Big, Inspire Others and Make it Happen.

The Best Workplaces in Asia™ rankings are based on surveys conducted by Great Place to Work®, which gathers feedback directly from employees. This year’s data revealed that 88% of Hilton’s Asia-based employees expressed confidence in building a long-term career with the company, compared with 64% of employees at an average workplace. The results highlight the company’s ability to foster loyalty and retention in a highly competitive sector.

Hilton’s performance on the Asia list builds on a string of national-level recognitions across the region. The company was recently named the top employer in Australia, India, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka, while retaining its position as the leading hospitality workplace in Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, and Korea. In China, Hilton was also recognized as the Best Workplace for Women, reflecting its ongoing emphasis on gender inclusion and leadership opportunities for women across the hospitality industry.

Industry observers point out that Hilton’s strategy of linking employee development with its expansion goals has played a role in sustaining its workplace culture over the years. With Asia Pacific continuing to emerge as one of the fastest-growing hospitality markets, the company’s commitment to training, mobility, and leadership building is expected to remain central to its regional strategy.

By combining a focus on employee satisfaction with long-term growth opportunities, Hilton has reinforced its reputation not just as a leading hotel operator but also as one of the most admired employers in the region.
