ibis India has announced two senior sales leadership appointments aimed at strengthening its commercial presence in Mumbai and Gurgaon, two of the brand’s most critical markets. The move reflects ibis India’s continued focus on deepening corporate relationships, accelerating revenue growth and building a strong, future-ready commercial engine across key business hubs.
As part of this leadership enhancement, Gauri Lonke has been appointed Cluster Director of Sales – Mumbai, overseeing ibis Mumbai Airport and ibis Mumbai BKC, while Rupesh Malik has been appointed Director of Sales at ibis Gurgaon Golf Course Road.

Gauri Lonke Appointed Cluster Director of Sales – Mumbai
With close to 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Gauri Lonke brings deep expertise in sales planning, key account management and business development. Her professional journey includes associations with leading hospitality brands such as IHCL, Ginger Hotels and Hyatt Hotels, where she built a strong foundation in driving revenue-led growth across competitive urban markets.
In her new role, Gauri will be responsible for shaping the overall sales strategy and driving commercial performance for ibis Mumbai Airport and ibis Mumbai BKC. Her understanding of Mumbai’s dynamic corporate landscape and her ability to build long-term, high-value partnerships are expected to play a key role in strengthening the brand’s footprint in the city.

Rupesh Malik joins ibis Gurgaon with over a decade of hospitality sales experience, having previously worked with reputed brands including Radisson Hotel Group, where he most recently served as Associate Director of Sales. His background spans key account management, B2B sales and the MICE segment, supported by a strong understanding of the NCR corporate ecosystem.
In his new role, Rupesh will focus on driving revenue-led strategies, strengthening corporate engagement and enhancing the market positioning of ibis Gurgaon Golf Course Road, a key business hotel in one of North India’s most competitive corporate corridors.
