Deepika Biju has been appointed as the new general manager of ibis Styles Dragon Mart Dubai, the hotel confirmed. With over 25 years of experience across Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East, she assumes leadership of the property under Dubai’s largest ibis Styles brand.
Leadership and Experience
Biju began her hospitality career as a chef at Taj Hotels and has since held senior roles in event management, sales, marketing, revenue strategy, and hotel general management with leading brands including Taj, Hilton, Rotana, Melia, and Compass Group. Her appointment reflects a wealth of international expertise and operational insight.

At ibis Styles Dragon Mart Dubai, Biju will spearhead a culture grounded in ownership, creativity, and collaboration. She unveiled a monthly initiative known as the General Manager’s Breakfast Table, where a team member from a different department joins her for breakfast to share insights and strengthen cross-functional engagement.

During her career, Biju was nominated for the Hilton Global Summit Award for commercial excellence, recognizing her strategic leadership in reopening three hotels amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
