Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts has appointed Krishan Mohan Tara as Director Operations (India & Africa), strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its presence across the two regions.
In his new role, Krishan will oversee operational functions across the company’s portfolio in India and Africa, with a focus on operational standardisation, performance management, service excellence, and supporting business growth initiatives.

More Than 25 Years of Hospitality Experience
Krishan brings over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with expertise spanning hotel operations, guest services, revenue management, pre-openings, sales, and team leadership.
Prior to joining Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts, he was associated with Sarovar Hotels, where he most recently served as General Manager in Gurugram. During his career, he has also held leadership positions as Area General Manager and General Manager in Bhavnagar.
Earlier, he worked with leading hospitality brands including Mansingh Hotels & Resorts, ITC WelcomHeritage, Concept Hospitality, Taj Hotels & Resorts, and Holiday Inn Agra, gaining extensive experience across luxury, upscale, and business hospitality segments.
His professional journey includes managing hotel operations, leading pre-opening projects, driving commercial performance, and overseeing front office, sales, and revenue functions across multiple properties.
With this appointment, Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts continues to strengthen its operational leadership as it expands its footprint across India and Africa.
