Cygnett Plans to Exceed 10,000 Keys by 2031
Cygnett’s expansion strategy focuses on increasing its presence across business, leisure and pilgrimage destinations while strengthening its portfolio in high-potential markets.
The company has identified 55 hotels and resorts in its development pipeline, representing approximately 3,750 rooms. These projects will contribute to its longer-term target of exceeding 10,000 keys by 2031.
The strategy includes developing new hotel properties, diversifying its brand portfolio and expanding into destinations benefiting from increased domestic travel and hospitality investment.
Cygnett is also seeking to strengthen its position in emerging markets where demand for organised accommodation continues to develop.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Alliance Supports Regional Expansion
Cygnett’s strategic alliance with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is expected to support its growth plans across India and South Asia.
The collaboration provides access to Wyndham’s international distribution network and brand platforms while combining these capabilities with Cygnett’s knowledge of regional hospitality markets.
The partnership forms part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its international reach and expand its brand presence.
Cygnett expects the alliance to contribute to hotel development opportunities and support the commercial positioning of properties within its growing portfolio.
Profitability and Revenue Performance Central to 2027–2028 Roadmap
Alongside portfolio expansion, Cygnett is placing increased emphasis on hotel profitability and operational performance.
The company’s strategic priorities include improving revenue per available room (RevPAR), gross operating profit (GOP), market share, cost efficiency and returns for hotel owners.
Revenue management and data-driven decision-making will be important components of the company’s operational strategy.
Cygnett also plans to increase the use of artificial intelligence, automation, digitalisation and data analytics to support operational efficiency and commercial performance.
These initiatives are intended to help the company manage a larger portfolio while maintaining financial discipline.
