Clarks Safari Group has introduced its new hospitality brand, Clarks Resorts, with the official opening of Clarks Resort Pushkar. The move, in partnership with Pankaj Group of Hotels & Resorts of the Dreamline Group, marks a significant expansion for the group into religious and cultural tourism hubs, reflecting growing demand in these markets.
The resort is positioned to serve luxury travellers as well as the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) and destination wedding markets. It features a 10,000-square-foot banquet and conference hall equipped for large events, corporate functions and weddings.
Clarks Resort Pushkar offers 134 rooms across various categories, including premium guest rooms and private pool villas designed for families and groups seeking privacy. A children’s play area and recreational activities are included to ensure a dynamic experience for younger guests, supported by trained staff focused on family-friendly service.
Pankaj Meena, director at Pankaj Group of Hotels & Resorts, spoke about the resort’s emphasis on curated experiences. “Nature enthusiasts can enjoy dedicated bird watching machans and guided nature walks led by local experts,” he said. Guests can visit the property’s organic gardens and fruit orchards, where they can handpick fresh produce for meals, enhancing a farm to table dining dynamic.
The development of Clarks Resort Pushkar aligns with Clarks Hotels & Resorts’ strategic plan to strengthen its presence in spiritual, leisure and event-based destinations. The property merges high-end hospitality with regional appeal, integrating modern facilities and cultural relevance.
The new brand and resort mark Clarks Safari Group’s first venture under the Clarks Resorts banner. It underscores the group’s drive to diversify its portfolio beyond safari lodges into upscale segments tailored for luxury travellers in culturally significant locations.
Industry observers say such integrated resorts cater to evolving travel trends where guests seek not just accommodation but immersive experiences rooted in nature and culture. The resort’s architecture and services reflect local influences while delivering contemporary comforts.
The opening also highlights Pankaj Group’s growing role in the regional hospitality sector. As part of the Dreamline Group, the firm brings local expertise and operational capacity that complement Clarks Safari Group’s vision for a broader hospitality platform.
Clarks Resort Pushkar joins a growing list of branded properties aiming to develop Rajasthan’s spiritual tourism infrastructure, offering a template for luxury, family-focused and event-capable properties in India’s pilgrimage destinations.
With this debut, Clarks Hotels & Resorts sets a foundation for further expansion into similar cultural and religious destinations across India.
