Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has appointed David Wilner as Chief Development Officer, North America, expanding its leadership team responsible for franchise growth in the region.
In this role, David Wilner will lead Wyndham’s franchise sales along with architecture, design and construction teams across North America.
Leadership role in development strategy
David Wilner will oversee the company’s development efforts in North America, supporting the expansion of Wyndham’s franchise network and brand portfolio across the region.
Wilner has been associated with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for eight years, during which he has played a role in the growth of several brands within the company’s portfolio.

Experience in franchise growth and brand development
Under David Wilner’s leadership, Wyndham developed and launched ECHO Suites Extended Stay, a brand positioned within the extended-stay segment.
Prior to joining Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Wilner spent 20 years with La Quinta, where he served as part of the franchise sales leadership team.
