Wedcation by Tivoli, Ambala, part of Tivoli Hospitality Group, has revealed its 2026 wedding and food trends through a closed-door showcase at the property. The presentation captured the changing expectations of modern Indian and NRI families, where weddings are now planned as immersive, design-focused experiences rather than traditional ceremonies.

The showcase offered a first look at how décor, styling, sustainability, and food are shaping the next generation of celebrations.

Design Takes Priority In Contemporary Weddings

The 2026 trend outlook reflects a shift toward modern visual storytelling. Clean lines, contemporary décor, global influences, immersive lighting, and sustainable celebration concepts are now central to wedding planning.

Akshay Gupta, Executive Director, Tivoli Hospitality Group, said,

“For 2026, weddings are becoming more experiential and design-led. We are seeing a strong shift towards contemporary décor, global styling influences, immersive lighting, sustainable themes and thoughtfully curated celebration spaces that are elegant, personalised and visually impactful.”

Venue Transformations Showcasing Scale And Flexibility

Multiple spaces across Wedcation by Tivoli, Ambala were redesigned as live wedding settings. Palm Jumeirah was styled for cocktail evenings and after-parties. The Grand Ballroom with its adjoining lawn was created as a setting for large ceremonies and receptions. Orchid Banquet was designed to reflect intimate and refined celebrations.

The guided walkthrough allowed guests to experience the versatility of each venue, demonstrating how the property can adapt to different wedding formats and themes.

Food Moves From Supporting Act To Main Experience

Culinary concepts were a central focus of the showcase. Chefs from North India Hotels of Tivoli curated menus that reflected the growing demand for variety and presentation. Guests explored global cuisines, regional Indian flavours, interactive live stations, modern food styling, and refined plating.

    Akshay Gupta added,

“Food has become a defining experience at weddings. For 2026, couples are looking for diverse menus that balance global flavours with familiar tastes, supported by strong food styling and presentation that elevate the overall celebration.”

Redefining Destination-Style Weddings In The Region

With large-format banquets, luxury accommodation, and a strong emphasis on décor innovation and culinary creativity, Wedcation by Tivoli, Ambala continues to raise the bar for weddings in the region. The 2026 trends showcase underlines its focus on experience-led celebrations that combine design, hospitality, and flavour in a single destination.
