The Fern Hotels & Resorts has signed The Fern Broad Bean Resort Wayanad, Series by Marriott, as part of its continued expansion across South India. The signing will take the brand’s total operational and upcoming properties in the region to 17.
Scheduled to open in the second half of 2027, the resort will strengthen The Fern’s presence in Kerala, with Wayanad’s leisure appeal and growing demand for quality hospitality supporting the brand’s expansion into the destination. The property will cater to both business and leisure travellers, while also addressing corporate meetings and social events.
Resort to Offer 65 Rooms and Suites
The Fern Broad Bean Resort Wayanad, Series by Marriott will feature 65 rooms and suites designed to provide comfortable accommodation for both business and leisure travellers. The property will also include an all-day dining restaurant and a bar/lounge, providing guests with multiple dining options.
The resort is being developed with a focus on contemporary accommodation and facilities that can serve different guest segments, from individual travellers to corporate groups and families visiting Wayanad.

Banquet Facilities for Corporate and Social Events
The resort will include dedicated event infrastructure comprising two banquet halls and a board room. These facilities are intended to support corporate meetings, business gatherings and social celebrations, adding an events component to the resort’s accommodation and leisure offering.

Expanding The Fern’s South India Presence
The signing adds to The Fern Hotels & Resorts’ expanding footprint across South India, taking its operational and upcoming properties in the region to 17. The Wayanad development also extends the brand’s presence into a destination with an established leisure proposition while creating capacity for business and social travel.
With its scheduled opening in the second half of 2027, The Fern Broad Bean Resort Wayanad, Series by Marriott will add 65 rooms and suites to the destination’s hospitality inventory and further expand The Fern’s presence in Kerala.
