Tilaknagar Industries Limited has appointed Ina Bajwa as Chief People Officer, strengthening the company’s leadership as it enters a new phase of growth and organisational transformation. Ina Bajwa will report directly to the Chairman & Managing Director of Tilaknagar Industries Limited and will be based at the company’s head office in Mumbai.
Tilaknagar Industries Limited is one of India’s leading manufacturers in the Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) segment and continues to expand its national presence across key markets.

Leadership appointment to guide people strategy
As Chief People Officer, Ina Bajwa will lead the company’s human resources function and oversee people strategy across the organisation.
Her responsibilities include talent development, organisational design, workforce planning, leadership development, and strengthening the company’s culture and employee engagement framework.
The appointment formalises the leadership of the HR function, which had been managed on an interim basis by Ameya Deshpande, Chief Strategy Officer, who will now continue focusing on corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations.
HR leadership career spanning more than two decades
Ina Bajwa brings over 22 years of experience in human resource leadership, with professional exposure across sectors including retail, e-commerce, technology, banking, consulting and infrastructure.
Throughout her career, she has held CXO-level and global leadership roles, including positions within the Tata Group.
Her work has focused on building organisational capability, leading transformation initiatives and strengthening leadership pipelines across complex business environments.
Previous leadership roles across global organisations
Prior to joining Tilaknagar Industries Limited, Ina Bajwa served as Group Head – Talent & Engagement at Landmark Group in the Middle East, where she led CEO succession planning and executive talent strategy across the group’s retail brands.
Earlier, she held leadership roles including Chief Human Resources Officer at Tata 1mg and Chief Talent Officer at Tata Digital.
She also served in senior HR positions at Tata Communications, contributing to people strategy and organisational development initiatives.
Her early professional experience includes roles with HSBC and the Essar Group, where she worked across global business environments.
Expertise across the full spectrum of HR strategy
Ina Bajwa’s experience spans a wide range of HR leadership areas including talent and succession management, leadership development, performance management, rewards strategy, culture transformation and HR digitalisation.
She has also led large multicultural teams across multiple geographies, supporting organisational transformation programmes and strategic talent initiatives.

Academic and leadership credentials
Ina Bajwa holds a PGDM in Human Resources from KJ Somaiya Institute of Management & Research and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Economics from Panjab University.
She is also an alumna of the Tata Group Strategic Leadership Program at Harvard Business School and holds multiple professional certifications in talent management, assessments and executive coaching.
With this appointment, Tilaknagar Industries Limited strengthens its leadership team as it focuses on organisational capability, talent development and long-term business growth.
